“I like R. G. Drage because it gives me a chance to have a skill right out of high school and still have the opportunity to go to college. When I first came to Drage, I was scared because I was leaving all my friends. But, I ended up making new friends with people from other schools. The teachers here are very nice and you can tell they want to help you succeed--but only if you’re willing to work for it! I always know that if I ever need help on anything, I can always ask.”

“So far, Early Childhood Education has been the best experience of my high school career! I never thought I could have this much fun in school. Working with the children is so fun and educational. Just talking about children isn’t enough, but actually working with the children really helps me learn.”

“I like Drage because it is a lot of fun here. The teachers are amazing, and I got an opportunity to meet new friends. I feel that going to Drage is more effective than staying at your home school because you get a head start on what you want to do for a career. At first I was scared to leave my friends, and I wasn’t even sure that I would like my program. But now, I couldn’t imagine doing anything else! Mr. Krino makes everything we do really fun and hands-on. Also, my core classes are a lot more fun because the teachers care about every student and want to see us all succeed—even if it means staying after school to give extra help with something you don’t understand. R. G. Drage is my first step to becoming successful.”

"I think Building Construction Technology is one of the best programs at R. G. Drage. We are a hard working class, and there are a lot of job opportunities in this career field. Mr. Richardson is a very good teacher and will help you get a job after you graduate. In this class, you learn all of the basics of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, masonry and cement, roofing, dry wall, and siding. R. G. Drage is a very good school to go to no matter what program you get into, but I highly recommend Building Construction Technology."
