Preschool begins for four year olds on Monday, October 3, 2011. Preschool begins for three year olds on Tuesday, October 4, 2011.
The junior Early Childhood Education students will plan and present developmentally appropriate activities every Monday and Wednesday for our four year old children and every Tuesday and Thursday for our three's. We are introducing the "Creative Curriculum" in our preschool and students are learning exciting and effective ways to teach the children. Our "study" and "question of the day" will be determined by our preschool children. The Early Childhood Education students will facilitate in our interest areas that include; Discovery, Sand and Water, Writing, Dramatics, Blocks, Computers, Library, Art, Music and Toys and Games. A nutritious snack will be prepared and served each day. The preschoolers will have choice time and also participate in group activities.
